Who is responsible

The Recruitment Toolkit Co Ltd, registered in Scotland under company number SC906635, is responsible for personal information used for this website and its toolkit enquiries. Contact Shaun McMurchie at shaun@therecruitmenttoolkitco.co.uk, the current founder contact mailbox, for privacy questions.

Information we use

If you email us, we receive the contact details, message and attachments you choose to send. Our website hosting and security services may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times and browser information to deliver and protect the site.

The agency readiness check runs within your browser. Its tick-box answers are not submitted to us or saved as a customer profile. Supplier search terms are used on the page to filter the directory.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information to answer you, discuss requested services and manage business correspondence. Depending on the enquiry, this is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract, or for our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running the business. Technical records support our legitimate interests in operating a secure, reliable website. We may also retain information where a legal obligation requires it.

Service providers and external links

The site uses WordPress and IONOS hosting. Authorised hosting, email and website administration providers may process information needed to operate those services. If information is transferred outside the UK, applicable data protection safeguards must be used.

Supplier links take you to separate websites. Each supplier is responsible for its own privacy information and any information you give it. Our directory does not automatically send your enquiry to suppliers.

Cookies

WordPress uses cookies for administrator login and related site functions. Browser settings let you view and manage cookies. This launch version does not include an advertising campaign, newsletter signup or a payment checkout. If optional analytics or marketing cookies are introduced, the relevant information and choices will be provided before they are used where consent is required.

How long information is kept

We retain information only as long as needed for the enquiry, ongoing business relationship, applicable record-keeping duties or the handling of a dispute. We review information and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your information, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where consent is used, you can withdraw it. Email the contact above to exercise your rights.

You can raise a concern with us or complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
